Ridge Merino
100% Plastic-Free Base & Mid Layers - Reduces Microplastic Absorption/Inhalation
We love layers you can live in. At Ridge Merino we create simple, everyday apparel with the mettle to weather expeditions, insulate adventures and soften the daily grind.
As a small, family-owned business based in Mammoth Lakes, California, our family’s connection to the outdoors is woven through everything we make and do. Before starting Ridge in 2014, one of our co-founders led design and development at a major ski brand, where he noticed the pros preferred Merino wool to synthetic layers. We got the idea to make pro-level Merino apparel accessible to everyone who loves to get after it. And just like that we were off on a new adventure.
Today we test our soft, breathable Merino wool layers right here on the East Side of the Sierra, where the high desert meets deep snow and 14,000-foot peaks. We ski off ridges, run through rainstorms and camp out on cold desert nights to be sure our clothing will keep you comfortable even in the most uncomfortable conditions. And that it still looks (and smells) good enough to wear to work on Monday.
With over 10 years in the ski and hiking gear industry, RIdge Merino offers a variety of mostly plastic-free, merino wool clothing.
Their 100% merino wool collection has completely plastic-free base layers, sweaters, joggers, and headwear.
